Wrote the Golf Clubmakers Association (GCA) Exam earning
both the Professional
&
Advanced Certifications - the highest available levels
for Clubbuilders.
2005 - Trademark
owner of 'True Length Technology™' A fitting system
that puts every
club in the same hand position based on
the proper length and lie angle for
the individual.
Please note that the clubs do vary in length, but not to
the
traditional
1/2 inch incrument used throughout the industry. I devoted 3 years
of research
knowing there had to be a better fit than what is currently available.
I
always felt my long irons were too long and my short irons
too short.

2005 - Became a Certified

- Currently employed as a Metrologist for General Motors
in the Canadian Regional Engineering Centre in Oshawa.
As a Precision Inspector I currently operate CAD systems,
Coordinate Measuring Machines and high level inspection
tools on a daily basis. All part of holding the J.D.
Powers 'Best In Class' which has been awarded to General
Motors on many occations. I am proud to be a General
Motors employee and their complete line of Quality
Vehicles.
- Past Chairman (2 years) of the 'Association for Coordinate
Metrology Canada' (ACMC).
www.acmc-canada.ca This is a group of individuals
devoted to correct metrology practices at the highest
level. Colleagues include University Professors, Scientist's
from the National Research Council and dimensional
experts from around the world.
- Graduate of Durham College (1980) from the 3 year Mechanical
Technology Program.

metrology are all daily practices to Dan.

prices as a shelf item.
Due
to many requests, Dan’s Custom Golf Shop has decided

Line Fitting Program’
I will help you determine what True Length
Technology TM Length
Chart will best suit you - based on the accuracy of the
information supplied. This program will allow you an opportunity
to purchase a single True Length Technology TM Series
Length and Lie Chart (for $69.44 plus tax & a small
handling fee) that you can take to your Clubmaker to have
your existing set altered or a new set built to your personal
True Length Technology TM specifications.
Steps you will need to follow
- Fill out the on line Evaluation

- If you know the length and lie of
your favorite club, this often helps. Please inform me
of any
special circumstances that may influence your
fitting
- We may need to ‘back and forth’ a
few E-mails or phone calls to get all the data I need
to
fit you to your math model
- Don't want to use the Pay Pal Link

If you are not a Clubmaker, I recommend
that you find one to take your TLT Specifications to at:
This way, your clubs will be professionally
altered or built by a Certified Technician. Please inform
the Clubmaker of the merits and advantages of building
to the True Length Technology TM Math
Model and how to get hold of me danscustomgolfshop@hotmail.com for
clarification.
Note: You will have to negotiate your
own deal with your Clubmaker as to the cost of the alteration
or assembly.
I will do my best to match you and your
address position up with a TLT Series Chart that should
help you develop a constant - stable address position.
Due to the lack of any personal observations or hands on
fitting, and based on the accuracy of the information I
am supplied by you, I cannot guarantee that this will be
a ‘perfect’ fit, but I can guarantee that I
will do my best. There are many factors in determining
the best fit, so the more information I have, the better
the chance.
The charts
will not be my full Clubmakers Package - available at http://www.danscustomgolfshop.com/registry.html
but rather an
edited TLT Fitting Package version. I will supply the required
lengths for your complete set including your driver, fairway
woods, hybrids, irons and putter. Target lie angles for
your irons will also be specified, but keep in mind that
dynamic testing is recommended for final lie angles positions.
This is the
first step at moving your game to the next level.
Please note: Due
to the lack of personal observations, I can accept no responsibility
or liability for the assembly or accuracy of your set.
The fitting is performed in good faith and you do have
my word that I will do my best based on the information
I have. These charts are the Proprietary Property of Dan
Connelly and Dan’s Custom Golf Shop, and cannot be
given away or sold. The True Length Technology TM System
